Ben Gorb Bio: As a teenager, Ben developed a great passion for classic rock music as he discovered artists such as Jimi Hendrix, The Who and AC/DC. At fourteen years old, he picked up a guitar and has not looked back since.

Ben’s music is filled with energy, driven by his powerful voice and fierce guitar style. His explosive sound harkens back to blues based 70’s rock, with a modern day indie twist.

Now running for 8 years and renowned for being the best open mic in the UK, this weekly show runs 2/3 times a week and is one you have to see if you’re a fan of live music, or equally want to find out who are the best up and coming musicians in the city are.

Have you wondered how a new song comes into being? Curious to try your hand at writing songs? I'm invited to conduct a Songwriters' Workshop and a mini acoustic performance at "The Nest" Community Center at Good Vibrations Society Festival 2024! My session will take place Sunday morning at 11:30am. I'm really looking forward to participating in and contributing to this weekend-long music-wellness-eco retreat! Good Vibrations Festival was shortlisted for Best New Festival in 2023, and headliners for this year are Goldie, Morcheeba, and Left Field (DJ Set).
